Hard Hat

So we went to meet Daddy on his way back from the train tonight and he looked every bit the architect: giant portfolio of presentation boards and hard hat in hand. I guess that makes it official.

Bye Bye Liji and Milo

Playing in "Elijah's car" on Sunday morning before going our separate ways. Half way through Linden's nap in the car on the way back from Grandma Eve's he woke up a little anxious and said "Elijah? Elijah?" looking around the car and then went immediately back to sleep. We will miss having our cousins around for sure.

Sprinkler Fun at Grandma Eve's

We spent the weekend at Linden's Great Grandma Eve's house for a birthday celebration for Grandpa Howard (91) - Linden's great grandfather. The boys continued their fun filled cousin time there.

New games

liji has been teaching Linden all sorts of new games - like how to hide behind the couch cushions. Here they are playing "Little Pig Little Pig" - I was the big bad wolf huffing and puffing.

we took refuge in the primate house with its air conditioning - here they are ready to be shipped home for lunch.

Bike race

Even with the heat we managed a picnic while watching the Philly bike race zoom by.
