Vacation Firsts

Road trip

Two boys in the back seat. Road trip with Cousin Isaac to meet Bubba and Pop in Maryland for Memorial Day.

Big boy hair cut and big boy train set

Linden finally got his hair cut - not too short but at least he can see. And he got a new train which he loves.

pony ride

Linden got to visit a horse farm this afternoon and even got to ride a pony! He of course was dressed appropriately for the occasion. Thanks so much Courtney and family for a really fun afternoon.

Cousin sleep over

Big cousin Isaac spent the night last night for a sleep over. We had a great time and enjoyed the now cleaned off porch.

Early zoo hours

The zoo has this awesome new early opening time on the weekends for members. We've been there bright and early the last 2 Saturdays. The animals are so active first thing. Here is Linden posing with one of the lionesses - note the huge paw prints smeared on the glass.

Our little chef

Linden has been really into cooking and using our pots and pans. Its the first thing he heads for in the morning. Here he and Kitty make some soup on the couch.

New adventures

so when you take only one nap a day there is a lot more time to play. Linden and I ventured to a new playground that remarkably we hadn't been to before - its only a short walk away. It has a really cool bridge to run across that Mama isn't constantly afraid you'll fall off of - Cool!

So as part of our new apartment arrangement Linden has a new desk (and computer) just like Mama's.

Happy Mother's day to all the Moms out there. We spent ours strolling Morris Arboretum on a lovely spring day.

Where did Linden go?

Daddy's got a new job!!

So Daddy's got a new job at an architecture firm in Center City - Exciting for us because now he takes the train to and from work. This is Linden waiting for Daddy's train.

A wait made even more exciting by the digger working across the street.




By the way the job is going really well too.

Morris Arboretum

We took the guys (Linden, Jack and Oliver) to Morris Arboretum today. What a gloriously beautiful day. Who needs play ground equipment with all the benches, stairs, ponds, ducks, plants, flowers etc.
