Oh Shenandoah

We just got back from our first family vacation: 5 days of camping and family bonding in shenandoah national park. We had perfect weather and discovered that Linden loves to camp as evidenced by the pictures below.

Road trip!!!! Notice the stuff piled to the ceiling above Lindens rear view mirror and on either side of him. We may need a larger vehicle - clearly we didn't bring too much stuff. One can never bring too much stuff car camping.

It was a long car ride but Linden enjoyed it much better when he got to drive.

This is our incredibe campsite. Huge, secluded, plenty of good shady play space, complete with lotes of over head branches for Linden's swing. Clearly we didn't bring too much stuff. Only the bare nescessities.

playtime with a veiw.

Linden had his first hike on the the AT

Linden enjoyed hiking out of the back pack too.

Linden and Daddy compare toe funk (and flexibility).

Nothing like waking up from a family nap in a tent after a long day in the sun.

If you ignore the label on the bin that says to never allow a child to play in it plastic bins make great play pens.

Guys - I'm ready for lunch. Where are my s'mores?
